Adorn yourself with fulfillment of a promise
Praise be to Allah, peace and blessings belong to prophet Muhammad, after that ,it is known that fulfillment of a promise is a good conduct , righteous behavior ,and nice feeling that nobody possesses it except someone who has a clean heart and pure soul. it is a clear cut evidence on preciousness of the origin of who possesses it. Surely, someone who lacks it has distanced himself from manliness.
The meaning of fulfillment of a promise
Fulfillment of a promise is a sincerity that has no treachery, the acknowledgement of good deeds, generosity without limit, remembrance of love and passion, and preservation of a promise.
The fulfillment of the Quranic promise
O you who possess a sound reasoning! Take a look at the fore part of suratul Maaidah where Allah~ glory be to him ordained fulfillment of promise. he says "o you who believe in Allah, fulfill your promises "Allah called up on those who are faithful ,and ordained them to fulfill their promises. This is referring to the importance of fulfillment of a promise. The meaning of the Arabic word "al'quud " is what Allah ordains or prohibits as explained by the pious predecessors. Verily, Allah~ glory be to him ~describes himself with fulfillment of promise, he says ,who is the person who do fulfill his promise more than Allah glory be to him. In fact, this verse is suffice assuming there is no more verse concerning the merit of fulfillment of promise except it !
The leader of those who fulfill promises
His whole life ~peace and blessings be upon him -is fulfilling promises one after another. Surely, our prophet has laid down a good and convincing example concerning fulfillment of promise and preserving righteous deeds. When the Muslims enslaved the idol worshippers in the battle of badr, the prophet says "if ibn 'Addi is alive and ask me to free these stinkers, I will do so for him "Albukariyyu. This is because he saved and protected him ~peace be upon him ~regardless that he died in the state of disbelief. The Prophet preserves his good deeds for him even after his demise. I swear by Allah, this righteous stance itself is a lesson among fulfillment of promise lessons.
Anas Ibn Maalik says: the prophet do say whenever they give him a gift "go and give it to so female, surely she is Khadeejah's friend "or " go to so female's house, certainly she loves khadeejah' Al-bukhariyyu in al-adabul mufrad, classified "Hasan" by al albaaniyyu. Please ponder on this fulfillment of promise that extend till after her demise may Allah b pleased with her, that doesn't stop by her Demise. As a result, he use to send tangible gifts to her friends and those who love her. Certainly, this is our fulfillment of promise.
Fulfillment of promise in the best century:
Narrated by ibn Dinaar, narrated by Ibn Umar may Allah be pleased with him that a man among the Bedouin met him along Mekkah, therefore, Ibn Umar greeted him and carried him on top of his camel riding it. He also gave him his turban Ibn Dinaar says we told Ibn Umar ~may Allah rectify his affairs- that they are Bedouin and pleased with a little thing. Ibn Umar says "his father is my father's friend- may Allah be pleased with him -and I heard the Prophet- peace and blessings b upon him -saying: "verily ,among the great righteous deeds is when someone is generous to his father's friend "Muslim .observe o you who fulfill promise that Ibn Umar did all what he did solely because he saw the son of someone who loves umar, please what do you think he will do if he sees the father who loves Umar?
Advantages of fulfillment of promise:
Allah praises those who do such and love them.~
It helps to build the society.
It leads to entering paradise.
It strengthens the brotherhood and love tie among people.
It kills treachery which is its opposite.
